Maritime Craft Services (Clyde) Ltd Orders 3 Damen FCS 2610 Twin Axe Design Vessels

Maritime Craft Services (Clyde) Ltd has placed an order for three Damen FCS 2610 Twin Axe Design crew transfer vessels. The deal was announced by Scotland's First Minister, Mr Alex Salmond who said "these three new vessels will take Scottish expertise and know-how into the waters off Germany and Denmark..."

Dirk Kuijt, Managing Director (pictured above left with Casper Vermeulen of Damen signing the contracts for the new vessels) added that "these new state of the art vessels operated by our highly experienced and well-certified crew would help MCS service the offshore renewable industry". The new vessels are scheduled to arrive in the first quarter of 2013.

MCS currently have two Damen FCS 2610 Twin Axe Design vessels, MCS Pampero and MCS Sirocco in addition to their two 19m Southboat Cat crew transfer vessels, MCS Maestro and MCS Zephyr.

Farewell to MCS Elly

Maritime Craft Services (Clyde) Ltd announce the sale of MCS Elly (Damen Dredgehelper). In her 10 years with MCS she was one of the most productive and farthest travelled boats in the fleet, working in South, West and East Africa. We wish the vessel and her new owners all the best for the future.

We are delighted to announce that we are now registered as pre-qualified suppliers on the Achilles Utilities Vendors Database (Supplier no. 88829), and the Nordic Qualification System & Vendors Database, Sellicha (i.d. no 110908).
